Lineup Legends Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
York Global Commerce Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 15922323, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
- Email: contact@yorkglobal.co.uk
- Postal address: The Storage Team, Monks Cross Drive, York, YO32 9GZ, United Kingdom
2. Scope
This policy explains how Lineup Legends handles information in the app and when you contact us for support. Apple and your email provider process information within their own services under their respective privacy policies.
3. Data the app does not collect automatically
Lineup Legends does not require an account, show ads, track you across apps, use a third-party analytics SDK or connect to a data server operated by us. The app does not automatically send us game data, player names, settings, contacts, photos, location, advertising identifiers or device identifiers.
4. Information stored on your device
Preferences such as language, appearance, sound effects and board colours are stored on your device. Player names, counter colours and games in progress remain only in the app's running state. The app does not upload this information; you can remove it by changing the relevant setting or deleting the app.
5. Purchases
Lineup Legends Plus is provided through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Apple handles payment, billing, refunds and Apple Account information. The app checks only the verified purchase entitlement supplied by Apple to decide whether to unlock Plus. We do not receive your card details or Apple Account password, and we do not store or upload transaction identifiers.
6. Information you choose to provide
When you choose Compose Support Email, the app creates an editable draft. We receive information only after you review and send it. The message may include your email address, feedback text and category, the app version and build number, your operating system version and device type.
You are not legally required to provide this information, but we may be unable to reply or investigate without contact details and a description of the issue. Please do not send an Apple Account password, card details, a full purchase receipt or unnecessary sensitive information.
7. Purposes and lawful bases
We use support information to reply to requests, address purchase and restore issues, troubleshoot faults, prevent misuse and improve the app.
- For purchase and service requests, we process information when necessary to perform our contract or take steps at your request.
- We rely on our legitimate interests to maintain reliable and secure support records and improve the product.
We do not use support information for advertising, sell it to third parties, profile you or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means.
8. Who receives information
Support emails are handled by your email provider and ours. Apple handles purchases and any diagnostics you choose to share. Where necessary, we may also disclose information to professional advisers or legally authorised bodies. We do not share information with advertisers or data brokers.
9. Apple analytics and diagnostics
If your device is set to share analytics or diagnostics with developers, Apple may provide us with crash and performance reports. We use these only to improve stability. Your device settings and Apple's policies control whether information is shared, what a report contains and how Apple retains it.
10. Retention
Device preferences remain until you change the relevant setting or delete the app. We normally keep support correspondence for 12 months after the last substantive contact so that we can follow up and identify recurring faults. We may keep it longer where genuinely necessary to meet a legal obligation, handle a dispute or establish, exercise or defend legal rights. We then delete the information or anonymise it where reasonably practicable.
11. International processing
Apple or the relevant email providers may process information outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where required, we expect service providers to use safeguards recognised by applicable data-protection law. Their privacy policies provide further information about processing locations and safeguards.
12. Your rights and complaints
Depending on where you live, the information involved and our lawful basis, you may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Contact us by email to make a request; we may need to take reasonable steps to verify your identity.
You have the right to object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests.
If you are concerned about how we handle personal data, please contact us. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or the supervisory authority where you live: make a complaint to the ICO.
13. Children's information
The app does not ask for a user's age or require an account, and it does not invite children to submit personal data. If a child sends personal data in a support email, their parent or guardian may contact us to request its deletion.
14. Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change, we will update this policy's version, effective date and App Store privacy disclosures. We will give appropriate notice of material changes in the app, on our website or on the store page.
